At the young age of nine, shadowing his father in Sicily, Italy, Andrea Turrisi didn’t know he would soon become a Master stylist. He has traveled the world perusing his passion. Andrea has demonstrated his continued love for the industry by competing in and judging several World Cup Championships. In 1984 Andrea won the Gents Razor Sculptured World Cup. Over the years, Andrea’s teams have won several competitions including the US Nationals followed by a win in South America just to name a few. In between his traveling, training and clients, he was blessed with the support from his wife, two children and five beautiful grandchildren. These days you can find Andrea at either of his salons, Headline Hair Designers in downtown Hartford and Headline West in Avon, CT where he continues to push the boundaries of modern hair design. Aside from being a professional stylist for generations of clients, he is well know for being their friend. Andrea’s love for his family and profession is still as strong as it was 40 years ago!
